Our Name
Jesu juva, “Jesus, help” was the prayer Bach prayed before beginning to compose. Many of his sonatas bear the letters JJ at the top of the page—the very first pen strokes he made.

Jesu Juva helps makers recover their enchantment with the Creator by providing a space for refuge, rest, and relationships in the context of 1:1 spiritual direction, retreat planning, and online content.

To equip every seeker with the time and tools they need to image their Creator well: spiritual formation, silence and solitude, and seeds of spiritual friendships.
ABOUT Kristi
My goal as a spiritual director is to direct your attention to the things of the Spirit. Maybe you’re in recovery from trauma or addiction and wrestling with a Higher Power who does not feel safe. Maybe you’re in the throes of deconstructing harmful messages you received from the church in years past. Maybe you’re after God’s heart, and you need just enough quiet to be still and listen.
Wherever you are, it would be an honor to join you. I’ve been trained both formally and in the fires of my own pain to recognize the Spirit’s movement in our daily experience. I would love to walk alongside you and help direct your attention, like a tour guide on a long hike directs your attention to things that are beautiful and noteworthy. In spiritual direction we seek to experience Immanuel, God with us, in the wilderness. The hope is that the reality of that communion will train our eyes to see God’s hand in all areas of our journey.
